So here we are at day three. We got a bit more smart (or so we thought) and put ALL the traps but one (we left under a wooden crate on the front porch)under the house. All three have been nicely cleaned, yes,we even heard the snap.Of course that bastard rat is STILL not caught.
Now you tell me how a squirrel the size of my little cat, gets caught by the traps but the f***ing rat not?!?
What does it take to catch and kill a rat?????
Little too late to answer your question...but rats are waaay smarter than squirrels. Lab tests suggest they're just as smart as dogs, in fact.
And they're great at surviving. Give 'em an inch, and they'll use every bit of it.
Posted by: Victor and his seventeen pet rats at December 27, 2004 03:13 PMI know.I study animals and educate myself a lot. They are REAL good pets actually.I even admit that I love rats.
But unfortunatly the wild ones are not.And unfotunatly I have no other way of getting rid of them.:-(
The live traps are good, but too expensive for us plus you know.....I wouldn't want to relocate them to make them someone elses problem.
